☔ APRIL SHOWERS BRING MAY FLOWERS 💐

Posted Date: 05/08/26 (11:04 AM)

Laughter filled the cafeteria, tiny hands got messy with soil and paint, and smiles bloomed just as beautifully as the flowers themselves during Lincoln Elementary School's incredible spring celebration!

Students rotated through exciting activity stations designed to welcome the season of growth, creativity, and joy. From decorating adorable flower pots to planting colorful flowers with care and pride, every child had the chance to experience the magic of spring firsthand.

And of course — no spring celebration would be complete without the ultimate childhood favorite: "Dirt Cups" complete with chocolate pudding, cookie crumbs, and gummy worms! The sweet treats brought plenty of giggles and even sweeter memories.

But beyond the crafts, snacks, and activities, something even more special was growing inside those classrooms — connection, confidence, curiosity, and community.

Moments like these remind us that school is about so much more than lessons and homework. It's about creating experiences children will remember for years to come. It's about giving students opportunities to laugh freely, learn creatively, and feel celebrated simply for being kids.

A huge thank you goes out to the teachers, staff, volunteers, and everyone who helped make this day such a tremendous success. Your dedication continues to plant seeds that will blossom far beyond the classroom walls.

Spring has officially sprung at Lincoln — and if they joy on these students' faces was any indication, it was truly a blooming success!
